Mark Galvin, CEO and Founder of ePresence, LLC, is a personal social media expert with 30 years of business management and hotel industry experience. He specializes in blending technology, marketing, networking and social branding. Over the course of his hospitality career, Mark focused on developing leaders, sales people and strategic visions.

Widely considered a pioneering leader in social media, Mark is frequently called as a commentator on key issues. He serves as the social media expert for WSB’s “Lenz on Business” radio show and has also been a guest on numerous podcasts. He hosts “How’s Your ePresence?” featured on Gwinnett BusinessRadioX and his own podcast channel where he offers thoughts on the trending topics in social media. He has also launched and hosts a new podcast to help listeners fall asleep named The Sleepy Podcast on iTunes and www.sleepypodcast.com.
In addition to his programs and presentations surrounding personal branding and social media, Mark also speaks extensively on the role of social media in today’s political environment. He is committed to keeping the internet safe for younger users and speaks to parent groups regarding social media use among teens.
Mark is a member of the Rotary Club of Brookhaven, where he was honored as the 2018 Rotarian of the Year. He is also very active in the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Ambassadors committee and earned the distinction of 2018 Business of the Year Award, Emerging Business.
A graduate of the Marist School, he remains devoted to his alma mater and has served on Marist’s Alumni Association Board for five years. He is the current chair of the Service and Spirituality Committee and a founding member of Marist’s Synaxis, a Christian Men’s Group that explores faith.
Mark resides in Tucker with Stephanie, his wife of 26 years. The couple has three children: James a graduate of Georgia College is now enrolled at Ga Tech earning a Masters Degree in International Affairs; Caitlin, a Georgia College sophomore; and Claire, a member of Marist’s class of 2021. The Galvins attend Immaculate Heart of Mary and are actively engaged in church programs.
