David Carnegie is the Founder and President of Brandon David Executive Search, a boutique firm specializing in executive level placement, leadership advisory services, and consultative services.

Before founding Brandon David Executive Search, David was a Managing Director with Harvard Group International (HGI), co-leading their industrial manufacturing and private equity practices. David was a trusted advisor to private equity partners and corporate leaders in the recruitment of senior-level managers to C-level executives.

Prior to joining HGI, David spent 22 years in the automotive industry with General Motors and Delphi, working in various sales, marketing, and product planning roles for North America, Europe, and Middle East/Africa. During his tenure at GM over a 9-year period, David was team lead coordinator for all GM Divisions in the planning and recruitment of Clark Atlanta University students and CAU Dual-Degree Engineering students at Georgia Tech.

With an initial contribution of $25,000, David established the Marilyn Renee Teasley Carnegie Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund at Clark Atlanta University. The purpose of the fund is to honor and continue the legacy of his late wife, who graduated summa cum laude/Salutatorian from Clark College, by awarding scholarships to finance and accounting students who require financial assistance.

David is a past volunteer for Karmanos Cancer Institute (Speakers Bureau & Education) in Detroit, MI, and a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Clark College and an MBA from Atlanta University. David is a Life Member of the Clark Atlanta University Alumni Association and a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc.
